Heat treating is a widely practiced service that requires skill and experience. With over 60 years of heat treating experience, at Western Saw Inc. we’re able to process large quantities of steel while maintaining consistent high standards of quality.
We provide induction hardening, oil quenching, and press tempering, and an automated quench-line that employs a direct gas fired furnace capable of up to 1650 °F. This high capacity system is geared for the processing of carbon and alloy steel in sheet or flat form, and can effectively treat up to 2500 lbs./hr. It can also accommodate individual parts or sections up to ½” thick, 61″ dia., and up to 600 lbs. Efficiency is further enhanced by the use of Lights Out and Lean Manufacturing methodologies. All heat treated parts are subject to comprehensive inspections and testing to ensure high quality including computerized hardness testing to verify compliance with virtually any heat treating specification.
At Western Saw we welcome small to large volume orders as well as one-off and prototype work, all with standard lead times of one to two weeks; with rush service available. To learn more about our heat treating services, see the table below and contact us directly.
